Glenanda Primary opened its doors to education in 1976.  The “school in the valley” has grown considerably over the years and currently caters for 1200 learners.  Our learner population is a wonderful representation of the Rainbow Nation.

An extract from our Mission Statement states that we “Develop the whole child by ensuring a safe, balanced environment in which our learners' academic, social and physical development will flourish”.  Our emphasis remains focused on this aspect and we are proud of you learners' achievements.

Our community is actively involved in the education of their children, and the prudent management of resources has realized state of the art facilities that enhance our quest to compete with the best in all aspects of education.  We have a dynamic staff who are dedicated to ensuring that our learner's are equipped with the necessary values, skills and work ethic to ultimately become responsible citizens.
